Our third collection of watches, dedicated to the Jaguar E-Type, embodies the spirit and heritage of this automotive icon. The aluminium dials are cut from the bonnet of a Jaguar E-Type Semi-Lightweight Serie 1 3.8L and every detail, carefully crafted to celebrate the essence of the E-Type, reflects our passion for exceptional cars and our commitment to watchmaking craftsmanship.
Synonymous with elegance, performance, and innovation, the Jaguar E-Type is one of the most legendary cars ever created. Produced between 1961 and 1975, its revolutionary design and breathtaking speed quickly cemented its status as an icon. A perfect blend of beauty and engineering prowess, it captured the spirit of its time and remains a timeless source of inspiration. Enzo Ferrari himself once called it "the most beautiful car ever made," a testament to its unmatched allure.
Inspired by the ultra-exclusive Lightweight models—of which only 12 were ever produced—the Semi-Lightweight versions retained the E-Type’s signature elegance while integrating key racing improvements. With aluminum panels, a reinforced chassis, and a high-performance 3.8L engine, these cars offered enhanced agility and power on the track. We have designed this collection with the aim of allowing you to own a fragment of the so-called most beautiful car ever made. The dial of the Aj-003 watches has been taken from one of the aluminium plates that make up the bonnet of an authentic Jaguar E-Type Semi-Lightweight, which won the French Tour Auto 2020. Each element of the watch is carefully crafted to reflect the inimitable allure and cachet of this car.
The unique patina of the dials is a constant reminder of their provenance and of the technical feat achieved to enable the bonnet to be integrated into a timepiece, and the curves of the case evoke the roundness and crazy elegance of the Jaguar E-Type.
